Returning for its third edition, Nowadaze championed its local community for a weekend of creative freedom and expression.
Set in Oxwick Farm on the outskirts of Bristol, grassroots music and art festival, Nowadaze, sidesteps the hype of big name bills in favour of something more intimate and intentional. With over seven years’ experience contributing to Bristol’s underground music scene, the Nowadaze collective’s ethos is rooted in community, diversity and platforming new artists. There’s also an emphasis on the local, from the artists through to the food vendors, audio equipment hire and art traders.
This year’s theme, ‘Another day at the office’, saw this crew of friends and locals dressed in suits and dishing out job advice, whilst also getting stuck into two-and-a-half days of playful escape. The festival’s music line-up hosted over 175 artists across four stages, spinning everything from garage and techno to jazz and rock.
