On 13 May Omar Souleyman returns to Berlin for a concert in aid of Syrian refugees
Omar Souleyman knows the plight involved in fleeing a war-torn nation first hand. The Syrian performer once had to leave his homeland and now he’s standing-up for those who have been displaced in more recent times.
Omar Souleyman and Melt! Booking will donate the profit made from the singer’s upcoming concert at Kesselhaus on 13 May to the charity Doctors Without Borders, an organisation that aims to make sure all Syrian refugees have access to medical care.
The Berlin-based initiative PLUS1, who recently raised €40,000 for various charities will also be collecting donations on the night for local aid projects.
