The Belgian festival is now in its fourth year.

A festival that holds experimentation and a DIY approach in high regard, Meakusma is certainly a memorable experience. With 1,000 revellers descending onto the site this year, the festival challenged participating artists and audience members alike to think outside the usual parameters, the likes of NWAQ and Don’t DJ taking part in expanded residencies and presenting new work made exclusively for the festival. What’s more this year Meaksuma expanded its offerings to include sound installations and a programme of talks alongside its usual bill of DJs and electronic artists, broadening the scope of an already ambitious event.
