Chloé Caillet curates a blissful post-club playlist
Welcome back to Selections, a series of artist-curated playlists from those in the know.
Today’s Selections comes from Parisian DJ, producer and multi-instrumentalist Chloé Caillet. Now based in Ibiza and playing out at spots across the world – including a Madison Square Garden show with Swedish House Mafia and forthcoming Coachella debut – Caillet was first drawn to production through her background in A&R.
Since then, she’s been carving out a sound that delves into blissed out, synth-fuelled deep house. Her latest release sees her team up with Poté, with the musician lending his vocals to Know Now. Taken from Caillet’s forthcoming new EP – due out this spring via CircoLoco Records – the track continues her recent collaborations, with previous single NYWTF a joint effort with producer and DJ Mikhail Beltran.
Alongside her solo ventures, Caillet also heads up XCESS RECORDS, an offshoot of creative collective PVBLIC XCESS which she co-runs with Josh Ludlow – which has seen them bring their parties to Glastonbury, fabric, Paris’ Club Silencio and more.
For the latest instalment of our Selections series, Caillet curates a soundtrack for the post-club wind down session, whether that be carrying on the party a little longer or a more chilled affair.
Filled with pyschedelic-tinged deep house and disco-fuelled cuts from the likes of Ron Trent, Avalon Emerson and Axel Boman, Caillet describes this as “a little after hours playlist for when you are leaving the club and either trying to wind down or listen to a couple more records to finish off the conversations or dance a little more into the morning.”
