Solstice Festival returned to northern Finland this summer solstice for three days of music, art and nature beneath the glow of the midnight sun.

Held from 18–20 June on the slopes of Rukatunturi, near the Arctic Circle, Solstice Festival once again transformed the alpine landscape into a celebration of the year’s longest day.

Across a vast programme, highlights included Verraco, OK Williams, KMRU, Trickpony and Sansibar b2b Spekki Webu, who played on stages including the Peak Stage, Valley Stage and Kelo Tent. This year’s edition also introduced The Hut – a new stage curated in partnership with The Lot Radio as part of its tenth anniversary celebrations, hosting sets from Kiernan Laveaux, livwutang, DJ Fart In The Club and more.

Beyond the music, attendees embraced the surrounding wilderness, spending their days hiking, swimming and exploring nearby national parks. In the early mornings, crowds continued dancing beneath the lingering sun before making their way down the mountain for Solstice After Hours at ski lodge Piste. There, back-to-back sets from artists including DJ Koolt and DJ Masda kept the energy high, alongside takeovers from Prague club institution Ankali, Helsinki collective RADC and The Lot Radio.
