South London DJ-producer Grandmixxer is a certified grime veteran, a respected figure at the forefront of its resurgence in past years. Initially recognised as a selector, Grandmixxer began his trajectory on the pirate radio airwaves in the UK capital. Having previously held down a slot at Rinse FM for two and a half years, Grandmixxer has since showed no signs of stopping, heading up regular shows at NTS and Flex FM, kickstarting his label South London Space Agency and producing his own beats. As of last year, he released his debut LP SLSA – and, you might’ve spotted him before on tour with Big Narstie and Novelist.

Drawing inspiration from artists such as Dullah Beatz, JT the Goon, DJ Oddz and Jammer, each mix from the veteran is packed with certified bangers and bass-heavy grime instrumentals, pulled from the old school and newer talents coming through. Clocking in at just under an hour, Grandmixxer’s grime excursion begins with one of his very own: Antagonist. Apocalyptic and future-facing at the same time, it’s best to hold onto your hard hats for this one. Hit play above and prepare for 51 minutes of glitchy and pummelling heat.

Grandmixxer plays at Outlook Festival, Croatia, 5-9 September
