Arcade Fire drop new video for Everything Now

And we finally find out what ‘Infinite Content’ is

Hot on the heels of the track’s premiere on Radio 1 this evening (1 June), Arcade Fire have released a new video for Everything Now. Directed by The Sacred Egg, the visual features the band performing the single in a desert, which closely resembles the image on their mysterious live stream today. Children dance surrounded by suspended cacti plants and scenes portray rockets launching into the sky.

The band have been sharing a series of cryptic hints recently: ‘Everything Now’ posters have been spotted in major cities, and the band have shared several teasers along with the live stream. On Twitter, they told fans to “Stay tuned for Infinite Content”. Speculation began over whether their forthcoming album would be titled ‘Infinite Content’.

Now, it’s been revealed that the album is named Everything Now and Infinite Content is a portal on the band’s site. Through the portal, users can watch the band’s live stream from Death Valley, buy tickets for their new tour dates, sign up to their newsletter and pre-order the upcoming album. Tour dates include Lyon’s Nuits de Fourvière, Scunthorpe’s Bath Hall, Edinburgh’s Corn Exchange and Newport’s Isle of Wight festival.
