Welcome back to Selections, a series of exclusive artist-curated Spotify playlists from those in the know.

Berlin-based DJ and producer Palms Trax has long been an in demand DJ, and 2017 saw him become a crowd pleasing staple of the festival and club circuit. His closing set at Dekmantel Selectors’ main stage in August was a highlight among those who know. Although closely affiliated with Lobster Theremin (the label released his debut release back in 2013), he’s also released music on the Dekmantel’s imprint, the home of 2015’s In Gold, High Point on Low Ground and this year’s Honey Lemongina.

Below, the DJ demonstrates his famously deep crates, uniting funk and soul with cosmic disco and synth pop – we see you, Furniture – to create an hour-long playlist of dancefloor cuts.
