Felix Dickinson

Felix Dickinson is a dance music lifer. After his brother introduced him to Brighton’s renowned Tonka Soundsystem in the early 1990s, the magnetic producer and selector has never looked back – a journey that has taken him to the beating hearts of club culture and on to his current adopted hometown of Bristol.

Along the way to accruing his 10,000 strong record collection and nestling in to tight knit gatherings across the globe, Dickinson devoted his time to his own label Cynic Music and the now-defunct Ugly Music imprint. Currently gathering momentum for his long and heady sets, spanning acid soaked house and disco and wildly esoteric grooves, Felix is in the midst of his biggest summer yet, seeing him close Genosys at Glastonbury’s Block 9, spin at the imminent inception of Croatia’s Love International, play Panorama Bar for the first time and return to CircoLoco at DC-10.

Opening up with a monologue from comedian Doug Stanhope aimed squarely at the keyboard warriors and cruising through deep cuts like Jerome Sydenham’s wobbly edit of Free Radicals I Just Can’t Turn It Loose, Felix’s mix for us takes a journey through the twisting alleyways of his sound.
