Kim Ann Foxman – Hypnotic Dance (Nicholas Remix)

Starting life as a fanzine that joined the dots between house music and art, five years on Needwant have earned a dedicated following for their party series and label, helping some of the hottest house talent to grow. To celebrate five years of Needwant, they’re releasing a 23 track compilation with 11 new remixes and 12 classic Needwant tracks.

Italian producer and revival house specialist Nicholas was propelled into the limelight in 2011 with his Needwant remix compilation of tracks from seminal late 80s early 90s New York imprint Nu Groove. Now Nicholas returns to the label for another quality house rework, taking on Kim Ann Foxman’s 2012 track Hypnotic Dance – lifted from the Return It / Hypnotic Dance EP – and moulding a meaty bassline under Foxman’s classy New York house style.
