Pure&Crafted Festival to première this August

The Hives, Refused, and Blood Red Shoes will appear at the Berlin festival

Inspired by music, motorcycle scenes and a love of handcrafted innovation, the BMW Motorrad-sponsored Pure&Crafted Festival will be bringing some of the greatest guitar music around to the much-loved historic Berlin site, Postbahnhof, this August.

The first ever Pure&Crafted kicks off two days of music with a Friday crammed with live energy. Brighton-based duo, Blood Red Shoes, will air their ferocious live reputation as seething disco-rockers on the opening night, and Friday’s headliners, Allah-Las, will bring the intoxicating sound of LA to the cultural melting-pot of the German capital.

Saturday’s line-up proves no less impressive – Brussels pop rock band BRNS will appear ahead of their forthcoming LP release, Patine, alongside Dutch psychedelic rockers Birth of Joy. Legendary headliners Refused have a whole new album of hardcore punk to play with, and anyone who has seen The Hives live will tell you that they’ll likely rip the roof off.

The fantastic music on offer notwithstanding, the energy of an urban marketplace will also be brought into the hall of the Postbahnhof with exhibitors as prestigious as leather-crafter Emma Opitz, iconic western brand Stetson and collections from Burlington.

Motorcycles are another important focal point at Pure&Crafted. There will be a hell-raiser show in the Motodrome, custom bike garages and test rides available all weekend.

If you find your hair needs a seeing-to after a night of head banging to the hits, hair brand Oak and Mühle Shaving will be around to make sure you look your best, and of course, there will be all sorts of food and drink vans onsite to sate your appetite.

You can grab a ticket over at Pure&Crafted’s official website now.
