The Glaswegian post-rockers have released U-235 , originally used as a soundtrack for a BBC documentary centred around Hiroshima
The Mogwai-scored soundtrack to the BBC’s Atomic: Living In Dread and Promise will be released by Rock Action Records on 1 April.
Named Atomic, the album will be filled with the same kind of jarring, sinister atmospherics on show in the first single from the album, U-235. Listen in the player above, and read about the show it soundtracks here.
