In the latest in a series of archival posts, BBC Music invite you to explore rave and club culture with six documentaries. Including free-party crew Spiral Tribe, Manchester institution The Haçienda, the enduring legacy of the Amen break and the beginnings of drum’n’bass label Ram Records, the series offers an in depth look at the rise of rave across the UK.

The video series also includes an investigation of the journey of party drug ecstasy from conception to sale presented by Stacey Dooley.
