The Madchester pioneers will return with new material tonight
A new single from The Stone Roses is expected to drop at 8pm tonight according to a press release.
The Manchester four-piece, who are credited with much of the rise of the late 80s’ Madchester movement, will be premiering the first new music heard since 1994’s Second Coming. The band will also play a handful of stadium dates and headline a festival this summer.
Whispers of new music started in Manchester this week as posters of their trademark lemon were pasted across the city’s centre.
