Last night, Frank Ocean released a video for a new song Nikes
The track, which didn’t appear on this week’s surprise visual album Endless, sees Ocean pay tributes to the late A$AP Yams, Houston rap legend Pimp C and Trayvon Martin. It also involves the “I got two versions” lyric, which appeared on Ocean’s tumblr post last year and caused much speculation about the nature of his forthcoming projects.
Apple Representatives had told Pitchfork to expect more music from Frank Ocean this weekend. Rolling Stone have also reported that there will be another Frank Ocean album alongside Endless, but that the title Boys Don’t Cry has been scrapped. Watch the video for Nikes in the player below.
