Convergence unveil new names for 2017

Following an exciting first announcement in November, multi-venue London event Convergence have added a new run of names to the programme for their 2017 edition.

Hyperdub boss Kode9, Oscar-nominated composer Mica Levi, PAN experimentalist Yves Tumor, legendary producer Daniel Lanois and Howling Owl-affiliated soloist Klein are among the new names.

Previously announced highlights across the rest of the programme include a rare live outing from The Ash Ra Tempel Experience (a collaborative ensemble made up of Ariel Pink , Shags Chamberlain, Oren Ambarchiand Manuel Göttsching), Shobaleader One, an Actress live set and Randomer.

Here’s the full list of new additions: Kode9, Mica Levi DJ, Lone ft. Konx-om-Pax, Pional, Yves Tumor, Daniel Lanois, Nosaj Thing, Tyondai Braxton, Klein, Dawn of Midi, Nkisi, Noga Erez, Scientific Dreamz of U and Radiophonic Workshop ft. Andrew Weatherall + White Noise + Orka + DJ Ben Osbourne.

Convergence takes place from 21- 25 March 2017 in venues across London including Barbican, Electric Brixton, Village Underground, Scala, XOYO and Behind The Bike Shed.
