El-P has shared a short clip of his “rejected” demo score submitted for the Blade Runner 2049 film trailer.
“Here is a snippet of my rejected (or ignored) blade runner 2049 trailer score,” he wrote on his Instagram post yesterday (23 September). “Honestly even being asked to demo it up was an honor. all synths done on the yamaha cs80, which as you may know is the same synth vangelis used for the original.”

Blade Runner 2049 is released on 6 October. The anticipated sequel to Ridley Scott’s 1982 classic Blade Runner, it features Harrison Ford reprising the role of Rick Deckard. Earlier this month it was announced that composer Jóhann Jóhannsson was no longer involved in the project, instead the film is to feature a score by Hans Zimmer and Benjamin Wallfisch.
