CTM Festival is set to take over multiple venues across Berlin from 26 January to 4 February, including Berghain, HAU Hebbel am Ufer, YAAM, Festsaal Kreuzberg, SchwuZ and Kunstquartier Bethanien. The event will also be hosted in Club OST for the first time next year.
For their 2018 edition, the music and arts festival will be based around the theme of turmoil and explore “the state of music and sound practice in the face of a confusing and critical present”. Those who’ve been announced for the programme include Hyperdub’s Klein, Timedance’s Batu, Berlin-based sound artist JASSS, Bad Gyal and Boys Noize amongst others.
Furthermore, there’ll be a special collaborative project presented by Akademie der Künste, featuring mastering engineer Rashad Becker.
