Janelle Monáe has dropped a new single from her forthcoming album Dirty Computer.
Entitled PYNK, the track and accompanying video is a “brash celebration of creation. self love. sexuality. and pussy power!”
Monáe adds, “PYNK is the colour that unites us all, for pink is the colour found in the deepest and darkest nooks and crannies of humans everywhere… PYNK is where the future is born….”
Dirty Computer is slated for release on 27 April via Bad Boy Records. The two have previously collaborated on Grimes’ Art Angels track Venus Fly, with Monáe credited as a songwriter and appearing alongside the art-pop auteur in the video.
