Poté has announced his debut album Spiral, My Love, slated for release this September via Benji B’s label Deviation Music, and we’re excited to reveal that we’re premiering the lead single Mortal below.
His first full-length follows up from a string of EPs, such 2015’s two-track release Voyeurism.
Currently based in Paris, the St Lucian-born and London-bred artist has consistently created sleek productions and mixes that seemingly have no bounds, seamlessly flowing between different genres and cultures across the diaspora. He pins his cross-cultural approach down to his absorption of “a whole bunch of new influences, sounds and culture” in the French city, and having now lived in two fashion capitals, the stylish quality of his productions, too, lend it a versatility that wouldn’t sound out of place on either the runway or dancefloor.
