Field Day returns from 7 to 8 June to a new location in Enfield’s Meridian Water.
The London festival has revealed the first wave of acts for its 2019 edition. Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Jorja Smith and Skepta have been announced as the event’s headliners, and other confirmed acts include The Black Madonna, HAAi, Modeselektor, Leon Vynehall, Pusha T, Earl Sweatshirt, Octavian and Julia Holter.
Amongst the festival’s indie offerings, Deerhunter joins the line-up. Field Day’s electronic programme includes the newly-announced Courtesy, DJ Seinfeld, Eclair Fifi, Erol Alkan, Skee Mask and Todd Terje. Live sets will be helmed by Marie Davidson and Red Axes.
This year, the festival will relocate to a former gas works site in Meridian Water, north London. Its 2019 programme is set to be staged across a 10-acre outdoor space and four interlinked warehouses. In 2018, Field Day took place in Brockwell Park after 10 years at Victoria Park.
Last summer, Erykah Badu headlined the festival and Crack Magazine hosted a stage with a line-up featuring former cover star Fever Ray, Princess Nokia and Jimothy Lacoste.
