Dev Hynes has shared the audio of a new track provisionally titled Cover My Eyes.

Yesterday (12 February) Dev Hynes posted a clip of new Blood Orange material to his Instagram page. The unmastered audio features a piano intro, sparse guitar notes and touches of synth. Hynes’ confessional vocals are complimented by Brooklyn singer Ian Isiah who, working in a higher register, features on the track. The caption accompanying the new music reads; “?????cover my eyes??!?>> feat…. @ianisiah —new-“.

The snippet comes just three days after Hynes revealed, also by way of Instagram, that he is currently back in the studio working on “Blood Orange 5“. The musician’s fourth album was Negro Swan, released on 24 August 2018.

Last month, the artist worked with Ian Isiah, Mikey Freedom Hart, Jason RC, Virgil Abloh and Benji B to produce a live soundtrack for the Louis Vuitton Men’s AW19 show. Additionally, he recently modelled for Staple Edition, the Louis Vuitton Men’s pre-fall 2019 lookbook. Hynes’ foray into fashion stretches back to June, when he walked the runway for Virgil Abloh’s debut Louis Vuitton show in Paris, along with Playboi Carti and Steve Lacy.
