Hodge and Pinch to perform at Skiddle’s Bristol takeover

The event will be held at Bristol Harbour on 7 March, from 7-9pm (GMT).

On 6-7 March Skiddle, the UK’s biggest events guide, will be coming to Bristol for a specially curated series of events. As part of the festivities, they will be teaming up with Crack Magazine on 7 March for a boat party helmed by Hodge and Pinch, two veterans of the city’s electronic scene. They will be soundtracking a voyage down the river for an intimate party buoyed by the best in techno and dubstep.

Elsewhere on the day, Skiddle will co-host a number of events across the city, including FiftyFifty Skate Jam: a skate party in Lloyds Amphitheatre with a soundtrack provided by Massive Attack legend Daddy G, Awon 78 and Bash Money, as well as prizes for the best tricks. Also on the bill is Bam!Bam!Bam!, a UK hip-hop party at The Fleece, with a line-up including Rodney P, Blak Twang and Ty. Rounding off the night is Dubcult’s Private Live Streamed Party, which will provide party-goers with unique insight into Bristol’s famed dubstep scene.

Skiddle Spotlight Bristol is a celebration of the city’s underground music scenes, grassroots communities and creative spirit. In addition to its extensive music programme amplifying Bristol’s finest talent, Skiddle is runnning seven hours of panel discussions at Trinity, from 2-9pm (GMT) on 6 March, to discuss vital issues such as mental health in the music industry, venue closures and the difficulties that promoters face.
