Bristol’s one-day festival has made its first artist announcement for 2019.
Lauryn Hill and Grace Jones have been confirmed as the event’s headliners, and former Crack Magazine cover stars IDLES are set to play a homecoming show in the UK city. Joining them on the line-up is Neneh Cherry, and the festival has also announced Loyle Carner as the headliner of the Avon Stage.
IDLES have taken to Twitter to say that it’s “always a delight” to play in Bristol.

The Downs Bristol will be held at Clifton Down on 31 August. Tickets go on sale on 8 March, and are priced at £55 plus booking fee. Reduced price tickets will also be made available to those who are unemployed or on income support.
