Solange has shared a new visual online, causing speculation that new music could soon be on its way.
Earlier this week (26 February), Solange launched her profile on BlackPlanet – an African-American online community. She also revealed the image for her latest cover story, for i-D. And now, a visual teaser has been shared online featuring new music. Watch it below.

Last year, Solange confirmed that she’d been working on new music and that she’d also been jamming in the studio with Steve Lacy. In October, T Magazine revealed that Solange’s follow-up to 2016’s A Seat at the Table was “so close to being finished”.
“There is a lot of jazz at the core,” Solange said. “But with electronic and hip-hop drum and bass because I want it to bang and make your trunk rattle.”
Update: (4.15pm GMT) Solange has shared another video teaser featuring new music to her Instagram page. The caption includes a number, and states that there will be a “special announcement” on the hotline. However, fans have commented underneath the post, stating that the line is out of service or busy.
