AVA Belfast has unveiled the first wave of names for its free conference programme.
On 31 May to 1 June, AVA Belfast will offer insight into the music and arts industry by hosting a series of talks and workshops with artists, agents, labels and organisations. The Black Madonna will be partaking in a talk based on her career and the development of her music, while Horse Meat Disco will discuss their trajectory and changes in London’s club culture.
Help Musicians Northern Ireland will be hosting panels focused on funding, welfare and health, and PRS for Music has also been confirmed for a keynote, during which they’ll offer advice on royalties and licensing. Furthermore, Irish producer Neil Kerr is set to helm a synth workshop, and audio brands stepping up for the programme include Ableton, Pioneer, Denon and Akai.
Elsewhere, across the rest of the festival, there’ll be performances from Avalon Emerson, Palms Trax, Ben UFO, Daniel Avery, JASSS and more.
Tickets for the conference are free. Head to AVA Festival’s website for further information.
