The Austrian festival has announced the full programme for its next chapter.

Donaufestival has unveiled its music, arts and performance programme. This year, the annual event will host the likes of Yves Tumor, Giant Swan and Nkisi. Having announced her next album, Proto, this week, Holly Herndon will also be gearing up to perform at this year’s Donaufestival. Noise artist Lingua Ignota joins her on the line-up, along with Berlin-based producer Planningtorock, Swedish singer-songwriter Anna von Hausswolff, drone artist Rafael Anton Irisarri and more.

Across the festival grounds, the event will feature installations and videos by author James Bridle, photographer Mohamed Bourouissa and artist Lola Gonzàlez.

Taking place across two weekends, Donaufestival will spread 84 different events over 18 venues in Krems. The daytime programme is set to be held at Klangraum Krems Minoritenkirche and the Forum Frohner, with the evening’s schedule to be staged at the Messegelände event hall complex and the Stadtsaal. The festival will make its return on 26 April to 5 May.
