Femme Culture’s annual Pride party, PROUD, is back in London this weekend.
London-based collective and label Femme Culture are hosting their annual Pride party, PROUD, this Saturday (6 July). PROUD will see female-identifying selectors and DJs from 3 different collectives take to the Queens Yard in East London. 6 Figure Gang- Sherelle, L U C Y, Jossy Mitsu, Dobby, Fauzia And Yazzus- will appear alongside Femme Culture co-founders Elkka and Saint Ludo as well as Trudy.JPG, DJ Tess and Lil C.
All proceeds from the party will go to the Albert Kennedy Trust in aid of LBGTQ+ homeless youth.
Femme Culture are a London-based collective and label, who are putting female-identifying artists front and centre. They won Best Breakthrough Label at DJ Mag’s Best of British Awards in 2018, were featured in Eventbrite’s Generation DIY series last year and continue to use inclusive nightlife to champion women in the arts and to support the LGBTQ+ community.
