R3 Soundsystem add new names to the anti-Boris, anti-Brexit party protest line-up.

Last month, Crack Magazine reported that R3 Soundsystem was planning an anti-Boris, pro-second referendum protest party in response to the appointment of Boris Johnson as the new Prime Minister of the UK. The party, described as ‘a consortium of DJs, crews, festivals, clubs, and sound systems’, was set to be held on Saturday 12 October; the day of the main People’s Vote rally.

Since then, People’s Vote have changed the date of the demonstration to Saturday 19 October, with Gideon posting a graphic on Instagram instructing his followers to keep the date free. Earlier today, R3 Soundsystem confirmed that the Second Referendum Now! party will take place on the 19 October and revealed that Floating Points, Ed Chemical of the Chemical Brothers, Altern 8 and Bicep have been added to the line-up. Other names set to play the party include Hannah Holland, Luke Solomon and Groove Armada. R3 Soundsystem are calling for a second referendum on Brexit.
