The Chicago beer company has unveiled the programme for its upcoming Hop Party.

South London quintet Shame join the line-up, along with Blossoms, Park Hotel, Hackney Colliery Band, Rob da Bank and more. Having named themselves after their local pub in Stockport, Blossoms double down on their connection to beer by teaming up with Goose Island to brew their very own IPA, named SK-Brew.

Taking place across Oval Space and The Pickle Factory on 7 September, Hop Party will feature live music, a carefully-curated selection of beers and street food. Furthermore, attendees will also be able to enjoy pints at The Hop Terrace – a calm oasis with picturesque surroundings. Shoreditch’s Goose Island Brewpub will also relocate to the event for the day.

Last weekend, Goose Island celebrated National IPA Day with an art mural in Shoreditch and a giveaway. First formed in 1988, the Chicago brewmasters are known for their barrel-aged beer. The company’s hops are from the Elk Mountain Farms in northwest Idaho.

Tickets for Goose Island presents Hop Party go on sale at 9am (BST) on 9 August. All proceeds from the ticket sales will go towards the charity Drake Music.
