The festival returns for its second edition on 2-5 April 2020.
RE-TEXTURED has announced the first wave of acts for next year’s festival. Former Crack Magazine cover stars SOPHIE, Helena Hauff, Avalon Emerson and Ben UFO join the programme, along with dBridge, Daniel Avery, JASSS, SPFDJ, upsammy, Sybil and rising artist Hiro Kone. Live sets will be helmed by Donato Dozzy, British Murder Boys and Eartheater, and the festival will also host a live audiovisual spectacle by Actress. A special back-to-back session will be held between Paula Temple and SNTS.
The theme for RE-TEXTURED 2020 is connection, and the festival will explore this through a multi-sensory approach in six areas: re-connect, re-play, re-write, re-see, re-mind and re-think. According to the press release RE-TEXTURED will invite attendees to “escape their digital lives and fully immerse themselves into a world of sound, light and space.”
Furthermore, the event has pledged that its next chapter will feature a 50/50 gender-balanced line-up. The multi-venue festival has listed BFI, Tobacco Dock, Southbank Centre, Oval Space, E1 London and Village Underground as its performance spaces.
