Former Crack Magazine cover star Skepta has teamed up with Cuban rum brand Havana Club to create a limited edition bottle design.
The Skepta Havana Club 7 Rum bottle is inspired by Skepta’s Nigerian heritage and Havana Club’s Cuban roots. The collaboration was inspired by a trip Skepta took to Cuba in 2019 where he explored the similarities between Yoruba and Afro-Cuban cultures. The design features Nigerian cultural symbols like the Ewe Oshun leaves used in Yoruba and Guiro textiles and Conga drums.
In an effort to support local businesses at this challenging time, the limited edition Havana Club 7 bottle was first made available exclusively at corner shops around the UK. Find out more about the collaboration in the video below and get your hands on one of the bottles here.
