Watch the Hannah Diamond-directed video for Sundara Karma’s new single ‘Kill Me’

English art-rock band Sundara Karma have returned with new single Kill Me which premiered tonight (1 October) on BBC Radio 1.

We’re excited to be premiering the official music video for the track which is co-directed by PC Music’s Hannah Diamond. Hannah has also worked on the artwork for the single.

Kill Me is produced by London producer and artist Clarence Clarity whose previous credits include Charli XCX and Rina Sawayama.

Diamond co-directed the video with Sundara Karma’s Oscar Pollock. It sees the band in a hyperreal dream world. Diamond, speaking in a press release, said: “I’ve always loved the idea of being fully immersed in music and being able to experience it on multiple dimensions – I love constructing an interconnected web of ideas and images to make sense of what the music means and where those songs come from conceptually and emotionally. It’s like a translation process, making reflections of the music in a different form to communicate all of the things the music can’t say on its own.”

The track marks the first for Sundara Karma’s new deal with indie label Chess Club Records. Speaking of Kill Me Oscar Pollock says: ‘Now we’ve just signed to an Independent label. I’ve chosen our whole team and I’m in conversations with everyone and have so much more control. Before everything felt more out of reach.
