The Nigerian superstar will perform at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on 18 November, from 8pm (GMT).
Burna Boy’s show will be live streamed exclusively via the MelodyVR app, where watchers will be able to switch between angles from their smartphones or VR headsets. The performance has been billed as an immersive virtual event, where Burna Boy will run through hits such as Wonderful and Real Life, in addition to newer material from Twice as Tall.
On the show, Burna Boy said, “This virtual show will be from the heart to my friends around the world. It’ll be twice as close, twice as realistic and twice as tall.”
