Basside announce new SOPHIE-produced EP

Miami bass duo Que Lina and Caro Loka are set to release their EP Fuck It Up on 2 April 2021 via Sorry Records.

Tracks from the EP have long been chased by fans and until now have circulated through live bootlegs and set rips from DJs like Machinedrum, Jimmy Edgar and PC Music boss A.G Cook. The label have also shared videos of Charli XCX partying to the Basside track at past events.

The EP was recorded when SOPHIE invited Basside to her LA studio after seeing their performance at Miami’s iii Points Festival in 2016. The subsequent six tracks from the session comprise the EP and showcase Bassides distinctive flare and SOPHIE’S influential production style. See the full tracklist below.

Following SOPHIE’s passing in January 2021, Basside decided to release “NYC2MIA (SOPHIE Remix)” with all proceeds going directly to Sylvia Rivera Law Project; an organisation that fights for the right of people to self-determine gender identity without discrimination or violence. A total of $650 has been raised thus far.
