The record features collaborations with Xzavier Stone, Le3 bLACK, Iceboy Violet and more.

Loraine James is releasing a new album on Hyperdub. Titled Reflection, the new LP is Loraine’s second for the label, following her 2019 album For You and I. It also follows her self-released debut album Detail, which dropped back in 2017. Plus, more recent, 2020-released EPs such as Hmm and Nothing

James’ latest sees her collaborating once again with London artist Le3 bLACK on a new track titled Black Ting. Elsewhere, James teams with the likes of Iceboy Violet, Nova, Baths, Eden Samara  and Fractal Fantasy affiliate Xzavier Stone. Reflection has been described as “a turbulent expression of inner-space, laid out in unflinching honesty, that offers gentle empathy and bitter-sweet hope.” It’s accompanied by a sleeve designed by long-time Hyperdub collaborator Optigram, aka Manuel Sepulveda.

Hyperdub will release Reflection on 4 June. Pre-order the album here and tune into lead single Simple Stuff below.
