Arca takes on Feiticeira, while Telefon Tel Aviv tackles Digital Bath.
Deftones are releasing a pair of previously unheard remixes from artists Arca and Telefon Tel Aviv for Record Store Day 2021. The band announced the new limited-edition 12″ single yesterday (7 April) amid a flurry of Record Store Day drop announcements.
On the single, Telefon Tel Aviv takes on Deftones’ Digital Bath, while Arca reimagines Feiticeira. Both reworks were originally meant to feature on Black Stallion, a 2020 remix project comprised of tracks from Deftones’ 2000 release White Pony. Remixes from artists like DJ Shadow, Clams Casino and Squarepusher feature on Black Stallion.
The new remixes from Arca and Telefon Tel Aviv are scheduled for release on 12 June. You can preview Digital Bath (Telefon Tel Aviv Remix) below.
