Body Movements is east London’s first queer dance music festival.

The multi-venue event will celebrate its debut edition on 9 October, uniting LGBTQI+ collectives around the world. The programme will feature over 40 emerging and established queer, non-binary and trans artists.

Today’s line-up announcement includes Manchester’s High Hoops and Bristol’s Bitch Please! London’s Pxssy Palace will present “The Sanctuary”, and across the programme there’s also Maricas, He. She. They, Herrensauna, Love Muscle, Big Dyke Energy and more.

Festival co-founder Saoirse Ryan said: “The queer clubbing scene has always been renowned for some of the best parties to ever exist. Body Movements wants to give prominence to those artists, parties and clubbers by bringing them all together and serving up a truly unique festival for the UK.”

Body Movements will take place across Hackney Wick. General tickets go on sale this Friday (28 May) at 10am (BST). Head to the Body Movements site for further information, and check out the first mix of Maricas’ crackaud.io residency below.
