The Malmö festival returns this summer.

Intonal Festival has announced the full line-up for its upcoming edition, set to take place at Malmö, in Sweden, on 16-20 June. The five-day event will explore the intersection of electronic and experimental music with a sprawling programme of church performances, exclusive commissions, screenings and a sleeping concert.

The Swedish festival has enlisted the likes of Anna von Hausswolff, Johanna Knutsson, Josefine Opsahl and KMRU for its programme of church concerts. A series of world premieres will be helmed by Ellen Arkbro and Microtub, along with Nathalie Djurberg and Hans Berg with the commissioned piece Fever Dreams, and Sofie Birch with Quadraphonic Flux. Minor Science will also debut the live show Absent Friends.

Circle of Live – made up of Dorisburg, Johanna Knutsson and Sebastian Mullaert – will host the festival’s sleeping concert, which will be streamed to the audience. Furthermore, Intonal have announced an AI stream by TCFX.

All guests will be required to social distance at the event, and a one-metre rule will be implemented at the festival. Head to Intonal’s website for tickets, and lock in to Minor Science’s Crack Mix below.
