ADE launches new Arts & Culture programme for 2021

The Amsterdam event is collaborating with the likes of Nxt Museum, Helena Basilova and Nelly Ben Hayoun.

Amsterdam Dance Event returns this October for five days of conferences, live music, DJ sets and more. For 2021, ADE is launching a new Arts & Culture programme that’s set to include creative residencies, exhibitions, performances, installations and artistic crossover projects.

ADE unveiled its new programme this week. It also shared several highlights from the Arts & Culture calendar. On the first night of the event (13 October), ADE will collaborate with Nxt Museum – a local museum dedicated to new media art – on an artist residency showcase. Director and designer Nelly Ben Hayoun and pianist Helena Basiolva will take part.

Elsewhere, Nederlands Kamerkoor, Connor Schumacher, Foam and more have been locked in for other arts-related events. ADE is also collaborating with Villa Buitenlust and Music Moves on a pair of projects, and is seeking out artists and entrepreneurs to participate. As part of the collaboration, Music Moves is offering a free traineeship programme to organise an official ADE event for the elderly, special needs children and/or homeless people. Meanwhile, Villa Buitenlust is inviting artists to take part in a creative residency. Find out more here.

Individual tickets for the ADE Arts & Culture programme will be available to purchase soon. However, the ADE Pro pass offers full access to the entire Arts & Culture programme, in addition to ADE’s conference and festival line-ups.

ADE 2021 takes place October 13 to 17. Head to the ADE website for more information on the festival. Purchase ADE Pro Pass tickets here.
