Manchester’s The White Hotel announces 54-hour party

Studio 54½hrs kicks off on 23 July.

Salford venue The White Hotel is set to reopening later this month. To mark the occasion, it’s unveiled a mammoth three-day-long event which it’s dubbed Studio 54½hrs.

The proceedings will commence on 23 July with a celebratory 10 years of P13 event. The line-up for this one will be kept a surprise until the night, but expect eighteen hours of programming from the P13 crew.

From 4pm (BST) to midnight on 24 July, The White Hotel will host a screening of Muscle followed by a Q&A with the film’s director Gerard Johnson. Presented by The Art of Crime/The Crime of Art, the screening will also feature a live set from Luke Byron Scott. VENDEL will also be on-hand for soundtracking duties.

From midnight onward, the event will evolve into $HOTTA Rave starring local Mancunian DJ Tom Boogizm. He’ll play all-night-long, with support from Mother, DJ Lyster, acidhousedeathsquard and Annabel Fraser. $HOTTA Rave will conclude at 6pm (BST) on Sunday 25 July.

Finally, Flora Yin Wong (pictured) and Roly Porter will touch down for a pair of live performances presented by The White Hotel. The final chapter of Studio 54½hrs will run until 4:30am (BST) on Monday 26 July.
