The Welsh festival has confirmed that its August edition is going ahead.

Green Man Festival has unveiled its 2021 line-up. The likes of Caribou, Black Midi, Mogwai, Little Dragon, Thundercat and Fontaines D.C have been announced for the festival’s next edition, as well as Kelly Lee Owens, Greentea Peng and Ross From Friends. Green Man 2021 will run from 19 to 22 August and take place in the Brecon Beacons, Wales.

“There’s a kind of magic about Green Man, both that I’ve experienced myself in the past and that I hear about from friends who go every year,” says Caribou, aka Dan Snaith, in a statement. “I feel very lucky that we’re going to headline this year.”

The festival shared its 2021 line-up earlier today (16 July), while also confirming that the event would indeed be going ahead as planned. The confirmation follows the postponement of its 2020 edition due to the pandemic, and uncertainty surrounding the reopening of large events and Covid insurance packages. Green Man has also announced that festival attendees aged 16 or over will need to show proof of a negative lateral flow test conducted within 48-hours prior to their arrival at the site, or prove that they’ve received both vaccinations at least 14 days prior.

Tickets for Green Man 2021 have already sold out, however those who can no longer attend this year’s festival can rollover or refund their ticket until 5pm (BST) on Friday 23 July. A subsequent resale of any refunded tickets will take place at 10am (BST) on Tuesday 27 July.
