Max Richter, Ghost Poet, Tricky and Anna Meredith have also been announced.

Kelsey Lu and Brian Eno are among the artists set to appear at this year’s Festival of Voice, which takes place from 4 to 7 November at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff.

Following the postponement of its 2020 event due to the pandemic, the international arts festival will return for a celebratory and “more intimate” edition next month, with a slew of established international names, local stars and emerging talent confirmed.

Brian Eno will deliver the festival’s opening keynote address. That same day, on 4 November, Kelsey Lu will take to the stage. Max Richter will also make an appearance on the festival’s opening day, performing for the first time in Wales with Sinfonia Cymru.

The likes of Hot Chip, Ghost Poet, Tricky, Anna Meredith, Biig Piig and Rachel Chinouriri have also been confirmed. Welsh singer Charlotte Church will return to the event, too, this time with her backing band in tow for Charlotte Church’s Late Night Pop Dungeon.

Head to the Festival of Voice website for tickets and further line-up information, and check out a mix from Hot Chip, shared as part of a Domino label takeover, below.
