The Bristol festival and promoter has announced its next season of shows for the coming months.

Whilst the Bristol festival isn’t happening this year, Simple Things has locked in a series of events for this autumn and winter including a newly confirmed show with Mogwai. The Scottish post-rock outfit will head to The Forum in Bath on 15 February, in support of their Mercury Prize 2021 nominated album As The Love Continues.

Coming up next month, experimental electronic duo Jockstrap – who have just released their debut record I Love You Jennifer B – play at The Fleece on 5 October. Over the following weeks, post-punk trio TRAAMS are set to play Strange Brew and Irish poet and musician Sinead O’Brien is slated to perform at The Exchange.

On 6 November, experimental pop auteurs Animal Collective play the newly refurbished SWX and at the beginning of December, Mykki Blanco heads to The Trinity Centre. Looking toward next year, London trio Big Joanie bring their DIY-rooted punk to Strange Brew on 6 January.
