WOS Festival reveals full line-up for 2022

The Spanish avant-garde music festival returns to Santiago de Compostela this weekend, from 8-11 September.

New names added to the bill for WOS Festival include CURL member Coby Sey, Azu Tiwaline, Carmen Villain and Rachika Nayar, who will perform her recent new album Heaven Come Crashing. Holy Other has also been confirmed for a live audiovisual show in collaboration with Portuguese visual artist Pedro Maia.

Elsewhere, aya and Sweathmother are teaming up for an A/V show and 2021 Shape Platform artist Grand River is set to perform her project FOG with Italian artist Marco Ciceri. Other acts confirmed are Ulla Straus, Mad Miran and live performances from Spanish artists CRNDS and Death Whistle.

Previously announced artists include former Crack Magazine cover star Blackhaine, who will present Armour II in Spain for the first time, KMRU, Prison Religion, Caterina Barbieri and Huerco S.

WOS Festival is organised by Compostela-based agency Work On Sunday in collaboration with SON Estrella Galicia. This year’s theme is ‘risk and exploration’ within arts and culture communities.
