The new release, entitled Sunset, is set to drop on 17 October.
Following on from Caroline Polachek’s Instagram post last week revealing the release date for Sunset, Sega Bodega shared a post yesterday (11 October) announcing the collaboration. “We’ve been sitting on this for a verrrrry long time,” the NUXXE producer wrote, “and the excitement I’ve had about this song has not dwindled, the opposite in fact. Will go more into how gushy I am about the collab later.”

Last week, Polachek also shared a new aria from the opera adaptation of Last Days – a film by Gus Van Sant based on the last few days of Kurt Cobain’s life. The music for the opera was composed by Oliver Leith and produced by Danny L Harle.
Earlier this year Sega Bodega – real name Salvador Navarrete – teamed up with Sophie Ellis Bextor and Wuh Oh for Hypnotized. He also produced the tracks on Shygirl’s recent debut album Nymph.
