Crack Magazine, Suzy Chan and Wilfrid Wood are speaking at this month’s Nicer Tuesday

The event will take place at EartH on 7 February.

Crack Magazine, Suzy Chan and Wilfrid Wood will all be appearing at It’s Nice That’s Nicer Tuesdays to speak about creative processes, journeys and methods.

Michelle Janssen and Femke Campbell will talk through the process of Crack Magazine’s annual publication, The Collections, which began after the magazine’s 10th Anniversary in 2019. The pair will focus on our latest edition of The Collections, the importance of our independent spirit and creating a network and community of creatives – and the design choices behind last year’s publication that allow both the copy and photography work to shine.

The Collections Vol. IV, features an interview with Stephen Tayo, photographer of our Naira Marley cover shoot, as well as former cover star Ethel Cain about self-shooting alongside a host of discussions with the photographers, artists and creatives who contributed to Crack in 2022.

Wilfrid Wood will discuss his work in sculpture and illustration, and the roots of his work in politics and wider society – while Suzy Chan, a previous middle page designer for Crack, will discuss the social commentaries that fuel her work, detailing working across different continents and her designs for protests.

The event is set to take place on 7 February at EartH, tickets are available on DICE. Find out more information about the event and its panellists on It’s Nice That’s website.
