FIBER Festival announces dates for 2023

The Amsterdam-based event returns for its eighth edition from 11-14 May.

FIBER Festival brings together a programme spanning art, electronic music and audiovisual performances. Taking place at various venues across Amsterdam, the festival focusses on offering a space for attendees to explore the latest developments and immersive works at the intersection of technology, ecology and culture.

The line-up for FIBER Festival’s 2023 edition and its theme is set to be announced soon and will encompass a music, performance and club programme alongisde a two-day symposium, the festival exhibition and a special opening concert. The forthcoming event will also see the return of the Audiovisual Art Assembly, a one-day research and networking event for artistic creators and researchers – both artistic and academic.

Last year, FIBER Festival hosted sets from the likes of Sofie Birch, Flora Yin Wong, CCL and Paraadiso – TSVI and Seven Orbits’ collaborative project. The 2022 theme was mutation which saw the festival host an exhibition exploring humankind, nature and technology as part of this. FIBER is an Amsterdam-based organisation dedicated to presenting and initiating productions at the intersection of audiovisual art, digital culture and electronic music with particular focus on supporting up-and-coming creators.
