The Northern Ireland festival has added more names for its 2023 Belfast edition.
AVA Festival has confirmed sets from Hessle Audio co-founder Ben UFO, Blawan, Irish talent Spray and Peggy Gou – the latter of whom makes her debut at the event. There’s also a b2b from Or:la and Sally C as well as Colombian DJ and producer Funk Tribu and Irish artists Optmst, Moregain and Jenna Daley.
These latest additions to the bill join the previously announced Overmono, B.O.T.A. (Baddest of them All) artists Eliza Rose and Interplanetary Criminal, I.JORDAN, Central Cee, Slowthai and SPFDJ. AVA Festival comes to Titanic Slipways in Belfast on 2 and 3 June.
In our review of AVA Festival Belfast 2022, we wrote that it was “a weekend of community, local pride and triumph” which demonstrated that “even after suffering from Covid restrictions for much longer than other parts of Britain, Belfast’s rave spirit is still very much intact.”
AVA Festival recently took over Printworks, in London, for its latest outing. The conference and party event – which took place on 24 February – saw AVA host a day of talks followed by a club night with the likes of Courtesy, Sofia Kourtesis, Mall Grab and Logic1000 coming through.
