The French festival has announced the first names for its forthcoming edition.

Positive Education Festival returns to Cité du Design, Saint-Etienne from 31 October to 5 November. Amongst the first names locked in there’s VTSS, Kahn & Neek, DJ Bus Replacement Service and Kavari. Amnesia Scanner are also slated to play, presenting a collaboration with New York-based multidisciplinary and digital artist Freeka Tet.

Elsewhere on the bill, former Crack Magazine cover star Blackhaine has been confirmed, plus KI/KI, Objekt back-to-back Skee Mask and Perel. There’s also live performances from the likes of Heith, Happa, Two Shell and Grove with other DJ sets from CCL, OJOO GYAL and DJ Nobu.

Each day of the programme will be dedicated to a theme with the Wednesday being focused on ambient music, the Thursday platforming artists operating within the realms of rock and Friday offering a more hip-hop leaning line-up.

This year will mark Positive Education Festival’s last outing at its current home of the Cité du Design – a former munitions factory in Saint-Etienne. The 2023 edition takes place from 31 October to 5 November. A range of night and day passes for the duration of the festival are available now.
